Ananda Tirumala Devasthanam is committed to providing excellent service to all our devotees. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for sevas (religious services), donations, and other offerings made through our website.
1. Seva Booking Refunds
Refunds for seva bookings are processed based on the cancellation timeline below:

Special Cases: If the temple cancels or reschedules a service due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered without any deductions.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a seva booking:

- Provide a brief reason for cancellation
- Submit the request as early as possible to maximize your refund amount

3. Donation Refunds
As donations are voluntary religious contributions to the temple:
- Donations are typically non-refundable
- In exceptional cases where a technical error occurred, refunds may be considered
- Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the donation
- Documentation of the error will be required
- Temple administration reserves final discretion on donation refunds
4. Online Payment Issues
If your payment was processed but the booking was not confirmed due to a technical error:
- We will immediately investigate the issue
- A full refund will be issued within 5-7 business days
- Please contact us with transaction details and proof of payment
- Screenshots or bank confirmations will expedite the process
5. Duplicate Payments
If the same payment was processed multiple times due to technical errors:
- We will identify duplicate transactions within 2 business days
- 100% refund for the duplicate amount will be issued
- The refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Notification will be sent via email confirming the refund
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Net Banking: 3-5 business days
- Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
- UPI Transfers: 1-2 business days
Note: Some banks may take additional time to reflect refunds in your account. Please contact your bank if funds are not received within the mentioned timeframe.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following items and services are non-refundable:
- Services already completed or partially completed
- Offerings and donations (except technical errors)
- Special archana subscriptions (once service has begun)
- Items purchased after cancellation request deadline
- Bookings cancelled less than 7 days before scheduled service
8. Cancellation Terms & Conditions
Important terms for booking cancellations:
- Refund eligibility is determined by the cancellation request submission date, not the booking date
- All refunds are calculated from the original booking amount
- No additional charges or penalties apply to refunds
- Temple closure days or holidays may affect processing time
- Force majeure events may result in service reschedule instead of refund
9. Disputes & Appeals
If you believe a refund decision is incorrect:
- Submit a detailed appeal within 15 days of the refund decision
- Provide supporting documentation and evidence
- The temple administration will review and respond within 7 business days
- All decisions made by the temple are final and binding
10. Rescheduling vs. Refund
If you cannot attend your booked seva, you have two options:
- Reschedule the service to a later date (if within 14 days of original booking)
- Request a refund as per the refund policy timeline
- Rescheduling incurs no additional charges
- Choose the option that works best for you
11. Tax & GST
Refunds are calculated on the original payment amount including any applicable taxes:
- GST (if applicable) will also be refunded in the proportionate amount
- Invoice will be updated or cancelled based on refund status
- No additional GST is charged on refunded amounts
